ONE HOP collects only what it needs to run one public link, measure real use, and keep destinations safe.
What we record
We record the current destination, its public label and nickname, hop start and end times, click events, aggregate counters, approximate presence, replacement intents, payment provenance, and URL-safety decisions.
Public visitor metrics use a rotating or hashed visitor identifier rather than exposing an identity. Obvious bots may be excluded from human-facing counters. We do not publish private payer information.
Payments
Checkout and payment processing are handled by Whop. ONE HOP keeps the provider, provider payment reference, amount, currency, state, and refund state needed to verify a replacement and resolve disputes. Payment card details are not stored by ONE HOP.
Safety and operations
Submitted URLs may be checked server-side for DNS and reputation signals. Safety logs support moderation and incident review. We do not fetch arbitrary destinations from privileged internal infrastructure.
